Lännen Tractors expanded its activities to multi-purpose machines. Lännen Tractors acquired the entire share capital of the Swedish company Lundberg Hymas AB, that manufactures multi-purpose machines under the Lundberg trademark and markets them in Sweden, Norway and Finland. Lundberg was the first company that introduced the new product concept of multi-purpose machines in the 1970s. Today Lundberg is still regarded as the field’s technological leader. The Lundberg product range comprises 4 different models in weight classes from 4 to 7 tons. The company is market leader of this segment in Sweden and Norway. In addition, Lundberg Hymas supplies spare parts for the Wheel Loader Backhoes it has produced under the Hymas and Valmet trademarks.
